My name is Nirja, and I am an 18 year old from Sydney. I care about the ocean because it is an essential part of our planet, providing us with the necessities of life, such as water, and ecosystem services, all whilst being home to countless life forms. Through this project I hope to raise public awareness regarding how climate change and pollution, such as plastic affects the ocean, and what we as people can do to reduce our impact. I also hope to look into a way to undo/prevent further coral bleaching, which is caused by increasing ocean acidification.
